Saddam, the 'Ram' of Daniel 8
and
A personal sign given as I was putting out the interpretation of the hand-code as it pertains to Saddam. Since this sign came to me while I was working on the same, I understood that the Holy Spirit wanted me to reveal it. This is how the numbers and codes have come since Oct. 22 of 1991.

The 23 circles represent 23 mina's, a total of 1150 Hebrew shekels,
and are divided by the middle circle ('coin'),
cf., 1150 days (2300 evenings/mornings) of Daniel 8.

As God is my witness---I realized the above only this very minute---that is, that the 23 'coins' (circles) add up to 1150 shekels. (One mina = 50 Hebrew shekels; 23 'minas' x 50 = 1150 shekels, symbolic of 1150 days.) Now it happens that yesterday was 1150 days after Pentecost, 2000 (when the hand was first seen, about midnight, June 8/9), and today is exactly 3½-solar years from Feb. 4, 2000 when the mene-tekel-peres code was discovered. Moreover, the mene-tekel-peres-code adds up to 126 shekels, and between the day it was discovered, and the day the hand was discovered happens to likewise be 126 days. (See chart below.) Yesterday, not only was Saddam running for his life, but I testified to a church concerning this same chapter---Daniel 7-8---applying it to Saddam, (likening Saddam as the mirror of the Persian 'ram'. Read it for yourself, an amazing prophecy!)
I rarely speak on prophecy in the assembly, but did so in obedience to the Lord. Even while I was impromptu speaking to half the adults gathered, the rest of the church was having the Lord's supper for the first time, as part of a restoration process we are now experiencing, as we return to our simplicity in Christ, (see '1150' "cleansed," Daniel 8:13-14). It was the 2300 "evenings and mornings" (1150 days) of Daniel 8 that initially prompted my study of Daniel 8 on Sat. morning, (Aug. 3, 2003), even as they were burying Saddam's sons. By our modern western calendar, Sat. morning, as they were burying Saddam's sons [12:30 noon Iraqi time] and as I was receiving this interpretation of the Ram of Daniel 8, that very day also happened to be the 1150th day from when the hand appeared in the code. (Another wrote me about Daniel 8 some months ago, but I did not make too much of it at the time, and totally forgot it.)
Editorial update: The 18 foot bronze President Bush statue toppled in London during his visit there with the queen occurred 110 days later, which therefore was 1260 days from when the 'hand' first appeared. (1150 + 110 = 1260 days, of Revelation 11-13. The statue was made after the likeness of Saddam's statue that was toppled in April.) Hence, the prophesied pattern of the 1150, 1260, 1290, and 1335 days from when the mene-tekel-code was first deciphered (on Feb. 4, 2000) is again being repeated, except this time from when the related picture-hand-code first appeared (on 11:30 pm June 8, 2000). By this we know that these events are not by chance, but in fulfillment of the 'mene-tekel' and 'hand' codes of Daniel---that is, the "writing on the wall" chapter.
(Dan 8:26) "He shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without [human] hand. And the vision of the evenings and mornings (i.e., 2300 = 1150 days, vs. 14) which hath been told is true: but shut thou up the vision; for it belongeth to many days to come."
Compare this Scripture with part of the hand-code and mene-code that declares:
"Is it the hand of Jehovah?"
"Truly, truly, this is a sign bringing healing...Shout aloud, O 'Mina,' for the message will be carefully shut up (encrypted)!"

Saddam a Sign
On May 15, 2004, a year after the war ended, the Multinational Force in Iraq (Babylon) was formed, (also known as the "US-led coalition).
Note the insignia used for this force! The star of Babylon!
This is the letter sent to me on the subject earlier in May, 2003. While, how she interpreted the 'Ram' in this letter is not exactly how I interpret the 'Ram,' yet it is very close. I interpreted it independently of her, for only after I had run through it in my mind did I recall her earlier letter. 'Let every matter be established in the mouth of at least two witnesses,' (2Cor. 13:1, etc.).
Briefly, I see the the 'Ram' as part of a composite beast, as per Revelation 13. Saddam is just a type of that terrible beast to come (just as Hitler was). Since Saddam is 'king' of literal Babylon (Iraq), for that reason, Saddam was an obvious choice for to be made this warning sign to the "Mystery Babylon" that is to come. This, too, is true of the 'mene-tekel code' and 'hand-code'.
The "Quartet" (1. the U.S.A.; 2. the Soviet Union; 3. the EC; 4. the UN) appears to be the still-murky image of the final beast to "arise out of the sea." Symbolic (Economic) Babylon (Washington) attacks literal Babylon (Iraq, 1991 and 2003), all the while a yet larger composite "Mystery Babylon" is forming inclusive of all nations during, or upon the heels of each of these two wars. (A similar pattern occurred after WWI [i.e., "League of Nations," Jan 10, 1920], and WWII, [i.e., "United Nations," April 24, 1945]). This pattern has repeated itself twice in order to signify that the matter is certain before God: "Mystery Babylon" will eventually arise out of the murky womb of the sea---religiously, politically, economically, and perhaps, geographically---and her time is near!
The Ram originally signified Persia, but now all the beasts of Daniel 7-8 symbolize the final Babylon of Revelation 13-18, of which Iraq (which is ancient Babylon), and its leader, Saddam, are an immediate example and sign. They are a sign to spiritual wickedness in high places, who control the kingdoms of men, that their day is numbered too, (Daniel 10:20; Eph. 6:12).
(Eph 3:10) "...to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God."
Saddam especially can be seen in the "Ram."
The Ram of Daniel 8
I see the Ram as Saddam, and his two sons as the two horns, with the younger "coming up later", (Qusay), who was being groomed to replace Saddam eventually. The 'Ram' shatters many. The directions of the 3 conquests (see Daniel 7:4-5; 8:4) refer to,
1.) "West" 'Persia' (Iran) in 1980. ("West" = east, since Saddam is mirroring Persia);
2.) The Kurds of the "north" in 1988;
3.) Kuwait of the "south," in 1991.
The US from the "West" saves Kuwait, and shatters the two horns (Saddam's sons.) The "Quartet" (the final beast to rise?) comes to make peace with Israel 3½ days after the official end of hostilities against Babylon (Iraq) on May 1, 2003. Another Babylonian beast is arising upon the ashes of the first! (Cf., Revelation 11, and Saddam's sons). For the next week of Jewish calendar (Iyar 3-9), the U.S.A. recorded a record number of tornadoes (400 of them) as the wings of the "Quartet" flew to meet with Israel for peace talks. (See SARS-moth code.) The 'Quartet' included virtually all the world: (1. The U.S.A., 2. The Soviet Union, 3. The EC, 4. The UN).
(Dan 8:8-9), "And the he-goat magnified himself exceedingly: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable horns toward the four winds of heaven. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious land." [i.e., Israel]
Thus, surely the Spirit is signifying from these events that out from one of the quadrants of the Quartet shall arise the anti-Christ, "little horn," likened unto Antiochus Epiphanies in 168-165 BC. It was Antiochus Epiphanies that initially fulfilled the 1150 (2300 evenings and mornings) prophecy of Daniel 8:14. (Recall sign of 1150).
"And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."

Dean,I know this seems really out there..... but It came to me as I was studying something totally unrelated. I was studying in Matthew. There was a reference to Daniel 7 regarding the use of the phrase "son of man"..... so I went to Daniel..... I decided to read on through Daniel 8.... The prophecy of the Goat and the Ram...... Well if you knew me, you would know that I believe that the goat is the united states...(kittim, son of Javan...Javan = Greece) I believe that the little horn on the ram is Iraq and the one that grows is possibly Iran, (not sure on this though)........Well today, (May 13) I believe God gave me an understanding of this prophecy.... I wasn't looking for anything, I just all of a sudden "knew" the meaning... (hard to explain)........ the meaning... I believe is this......
The large horn on the goat I believe is Pres. Bush... he will be "broken off" I don't know what that means exactly, but on April, 2nd of this year my 9 year old son had a vision. It was so out of the blue, that I knew it was from God, He saw himself a little older then he is now, standing on a street corner in dirty clothes, he picked up a torn and dirty newspaper and read the headline that America would no longer support Israel, ....... my son told me that Bush would not be reelected, and when he was done in office that this would happen. (dropping support to Israel) knowing that my son knows nothing about politics I questioned him about the re-election thing... I asked him could it mean that after his time in office is over...... or was it for sure that he (Bush) would not be re-elected? He didn't know. ok.....back to Daniel 8
I think that the 4 "prominent" horns that grew up toward the four winds of heaven..... is , again, the Diplomatic Quartet. I know it sounds out there..... but please read chapter 8 and then read Daniel 7:6 again........ tell me what you think...... by the way.... when I got online this evening, many hours after this revelation....... I came across this...... It may be relevant.

Dan 8:1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me, Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
Dan 8:2 And I saw in the vision; now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
Dan 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Dan 8:4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; and no beasts could stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.

Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Dan 7:11 I beheld at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake; I beheld even till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.
Dan 7:12 And as for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
