The Bible Codes: The use of contrasts

As said, the very purpose of the bible codes is to force one to view Christ as the fulfillment of every iota of the bible. This is accomplished by virtue of the fact that the bible codes cannot logically be interpreted consistently any way other. Christ must be the focus of the interpretation, other wise, rendering an interpretation is absolutely impossible. He is the interpretation!

Look at the following  as an example of contrasts, (quoted from the full bible code):

"O' Persia, They afflicted me! I will sleep the sleep of death.

I will be divided asunder!

(Persia can also mean "divided," or "half-a-mina.")

Yet, since I am a Lamp, I will not sleep his death, O' China!"

"I will sleep, but he is terrified!

He came to an end---he refused the banner!"

Persia and China paralleled:

Why is China spoken of in this bible code?

To understand "China," one has to back up and note that China is paralleled with "Persia." The word Persia starts the paragraph, and the word China ends it, (with "Lamp" at the center of the paragraph, that is, the King of "New Jerusalem," cf., Revelation 21:23-24). Jesus is addressing China as if it were Persia because both are "kings of the East." Instead of addressing "the Medes and the Persians" (who sacked Babylon), He now addresses Persia and China

China is prophesied (as many bible students interpret it), in the book of Revelation as repeating what Persia did here in 539 BC. Jesus addresses (the king) of Persia and/or China in this section of the bible code because the subject of discussion concerns the king of Babylon, whom the Medes and the Persians slew on the very night of the writing on the wall. Only now, however, we do not have the Medes and the Persians, instead we have the Persians and the Chinese. Will China make an alliance with Iran (Persia) to attack "Babylon" in the last days? Moreover, who is "Babylon" of the book of Revelation, anyway?

Also, consider the following passage---the only (possible) mention of "China" in the bible. In this passage, China is associated with the banner of the Lord, just as in the bible code:

"Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. (Traditionally, "China.")
Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders," (Isaiah 49:12, 22).

"Sleep" and "death" contrasted:

Next, we see that the two types of death are contrasted in this passage of the bible code: The king of Babylon dies a permanent death, in terror, whereas the king of Glory (Jesus) only "sleeps," like a lamp put out only for a night. (Jesus' body rested three days in the tomb before He arose again. The bible code implies that His spirit-man was elsewhere.)

The stated reason why Belshazzar was slain was that, "he refused the banner." Whereas, Belshazzar submits to the verdict of the banner on the wall (because he had no choice), yet, Daniel still rebuked him for his refusal to listen to God's warnings in the past, (Daniel 5:22). Simply put, 'It was too late now for him to bow.' This phrase, "he refused the banner," is also used as a lead-in to the next discourse about the banner, etc., where Belshazzar's refusal of the truth becomes the pattern of those who rejected Jesus Christ, and had Him crucified.

 "...O' accursed day!

The day of His rejections..."

Besides the bible codes, the book of Revelation is also a book of contrasts:

The bible codes are not alone in the use of parallels and contrasts for the purpose of impregnating a text with layered meanings. The book of Revelation is a study in contrasts, as well. Moreover, the bible codes cannot be understood without a good knowledge of the book of Revelation. As a matter of fact, I believe that the book of Revelation shall be unsealed by the bible codes.

In the book of Revelation, to every positive symbol there is a negative anti-symbol. If there is a Jerusalem above, then there is Babylon below. If there is a Lamb, then there is a beast. If there is a mark of sin upon man's forehead, then there is the mark of resurrection upon the redeemed, etc. The point is that opposites help interpret one another. We cannot know light without darkness. (Click here for more about the purpose and nature of the bible codes.)
