 MOSES - ELIJAH AT Ex. 7:7

LESSON 5d

I will only describe the essentials of this bible code. The bible code, at 20 letter skips, spells "Moses," and then "Elijah," with the shared letter "h" in between causing a forward and backward spelling. (By itself, the normal Hebrew would read: "Elijah is there.") This is similar to the Yeshua--Yeshua bible code under discussion.

We have already spent much time proving that the "Two Witnesses" of Revelation 11, are symbolically the persons of 'Moses' and 'Elijah'. Recall yesterday's web page since this bible code was discovered the morning after (10/21/97). We discussed the genealogy from Exodus 6, along with the terms, "scrolling" and "generations." A generation is 100 years, or 40 years. We said that the Messiah is symbolically the "4th generation" succeeding "Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."(1)

20 x 2 = 40 letters to spell "Moses" (3 letters in Hebrew), + 20 x 3 = 60 more to spell "Elijah." Therefore, grand total letters = 100 (5 x 20).

'40' letters and '100' letters, symbolize a "generation."

The first two words used to spell Moses are "eighty" and "years." Therefore, the "eighty" plus the 40 letters ('years') it took to spell the name "Moses" figuratively total the 120 years of Moses life.

Alternatively, the words "eighty," "years" plus the full generation of 100 (letters) = 180 figurative years (i.e., the "½ a time," of Daniel11; Revelation12).

Exodus 7:7-9

7. And Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh. 8. And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 9. When Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, Do a miracle for yourselves, --then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy staff and cast it before Pharaoh--it will become a serpent.

Endnotes:

(1) There is another way that Messiah can be viewed as completing the time of stay in Egypt. Is it a coincidence that both Abraham and Messiah purchased a place to bury foreigners? Abraham purchased land to bury his dead for 400 shekels, and Messiah (by the hand of His betrayer), for 30 shekels.

      "And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in."

Therefore, the 400 shekels to bury the descendants of Abraham, (who were "strangers in a foreign land, not their own 400 years" Genesis 15:13) is betoken of the 400 years in Egypt. The 30 shekels likewise speak of the age when Messiah began his ministry and together they total the actual length of time in Egypt which was 430 years (Ex. 12:40).

It was Passover day, when God fulfilled His oath saying: "…afterwards I will judge the nation they serve as slaves" (Vs. 14). Accordingly, Messiah appeared at 30 years of age, and after he fulfilled His approximately 1260-year ministry, God's wrath upon mankind was poured out upon this spotless Lamb of God. Likewise, the day was Passover. Messiah’s 30 shekels and 30 years answer to the remainder missing above the 400 shekels and years of the seed of captivity in Egypt.

Furthermore, Moses attempted to deliver Israel 40 years earlier. The total time spent in Egypt would then have been 390 years had Moses been successful, however symbolically the time frame can read as 360 years. Therefore, the 30 shekel/years of Messiah also represent the intercalary month of 30 days.

Literally ==> 430 - 40 = 390 years (days).

Symbolically ==> 400 - 40 = 360 years (days).

Intercalary month ==> 360 + 30 = 390 years (days).

Example:

430 + 430 + 400 = 1260, (Revelation 11:3).

There are three specific references found in the Old Testament as to the number of years spent in Egypt. "400," in Genesis 15:13-16 (and as optional, the "4th generation"), and "430", mentioned twice for emphasis in Ex. 12:40-42. This totals 1260 years. Compare this to the 1260 days "in the wilderness" (Revelation 12:6), with Ezekiel's reference to "the wilderness of the land of Egypt" (Ezek. 20:36). In lesson 6, there are two dates for entering Egypt; (due to differences in manuscripts, scholars are divided on the issue). The earlier is 1661 BC. 1661 BC + 1260 = 401 BC + "the 4th generation" = 1 BC or, 30 AD (as '400' or '430' shekels/ years).

Example: 430 + 430 + 430 = 1290, (Daniel 11:11).

(1876 BC) + 430 years in Egypt (1446 BC) + 430 + 430 = 1290 to captivity in Babylon (586 BC) = 3½.
