Hurricane Isaac
6. Hurricane Isaac (what may be the last hurricane of the season) passes just east of land
(NFLD) on Tishri 10 of the regular Jewish calendar, i.e., the Day of Atonement. This hurricane season (2006) has been in marked contrast with last year's record
shattering year. Last year was the year of record storms and this year was a year of calm or rest. This agrees with 2006 as the year of jubilee or rest.
