Yeshua Bible Code

A Personal Note

In fear mingled with joy I write these things; "to the Jew first and also to the Gentile" (Rom. 1:16), according to the command of Yeshua Messiah my Savior. To the Jew I acknowledge my historical indebtedness "to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises..." (Rom. 9:4).

Yacov Rambsel (who I do not know personally) wrote a book called "Yeshua." In this book, he reveals some interesting places where the name of Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) is found encoded within the Hebrew letters of the Bible. This encoding is referred to as "Equidistant Letter Sequences" (ELS), or "The Bible Codes.". It is a controversial method of finding hidden words or phrases beneath the surface text of the Hebrew Old Testament by selecting sequences of equally spaced letters in the text. The phenomenon received certain credibility when some findings were published in the respected "Statistical Science" journal. The bible codes did not come to my attention personally until a year ago when Rambsel (along with Grant Jeffrey), published their books.

The Spirit of God according to His sovereign will and mercy began opening to me the meaning and working of the numbers starting October 22, 1991. This study is now almost complete so that when the bible codes came to my attention I could "read" many of the codes (Isaiah 29:11).

I believe the Spirit has chosen to use one particular "Yeshua" bible code (found at the account of Moses at the burning bush), to be the key that unlocks the entirety of our study in the numbers. It will serve as the primary link between the seen and unseen numbers in the Bible, that is, between the normal surface text numbers and the hidden sub-text codes.

Bible Codes:
(1a)

"Yeshua" In The Burning Bush

(Exodus 2 and 3)

There are seven forward and seven backward instances of the name "Yeshua" (Hebrew for Jesus) at 120-letter intervals in the Pentateuch (i.e., the five books of Moses). Though this is about normal according to the law of probability, the fact that there are an even 7 forward and then another 7 backward should cause us to at least ponder it––After all, "seven" is the well-known Bible number that signifies completion and perfection. That it occurs seven-times twice (i.e., forward and backward) makes it doubly peculiar. Why doesn't it occur, say, four times forward and nine backward, or some other inconspicuous combination. In our "lessons," however, we will be zeroing in on just two of these 14 "Yeshua" ELS's. These two are undeniable unusual from the rest. I have chosen to center attention on this one major code alone because by establishing the authenticity of any one code in particular we force the conclusion of the likely existence of others. These two "Yeshua's" (that form the one code) are unique for a number of reasons and whereas merely 3 or 4 of the following reasons together may not constitute "proof" that our ELS is indeed a code (and not a mere quirk of random chance), yet the amassing of all 12 of the following features does––in my opinion at least. At any event, the bible codes are but a small part of the entire field of study to do with the numeric of the Bible.

The bible code that we will be studying occurs in the last eight verses of Exodus 2 until the first seven verses of chapter 3. (I.e., it is centered evenly at the pivotal point of the start of the burning-bush narrative---Ex. 3:1a.) Here we have the account of the call of God to Moses after he had fled from Pharaoh into the wilderness for 40 years. From out of a burning thorn bush, the LORD calls him. Thorn bushes have been known to catch fire spontaneously in the desert, however this humble thorn bush is quite different. It continues to burn and burn. Therefore, Moses stops to investigate. In the same way, the things revealed in this web site will at first appear predictable and easily repeatable. However, ultimately all should concede that this is "the finger of God" (Ex. 8:19).
